Buttercup is an open-source password manager compatible with all major platforms. It aids in organizing and safeguarding your login details for both personal and professional services within a securely encrypted archive stored at your discretion.

The archival structure in Buttercup allows for convenient categorization of your login credentials, empowering easy management. Complementing this, a desktop application and browser extension are on offer, ensuring access to your archives and credentials across various platforms.

All data stored in Buttercup archives remains private and encrypted, accessible solely through your master password. Protect the confidentiality of this password by refraining from using it for other logins. With Buttercup, you need only remember this one password; the remaining passwords can be lengthy, nonsensical text to enhance security without the burden of memorization.
